P.R.I.M.E. Finance at London International Disputes Week

P.R.I.M.E. Finance Speaks at Two Events During London International Disputes Week 2024

In June 2024, P.R.I.M.E. Finance was proud to support London International Disputes Week (LIDW24). Head of Secretariat Camilla Macpherson was invited to speak on two moderated panels – Arbitration and Regulation, and Financial Services and Capital Markets Disputes.

As a unique forum for legal practitioners, academics, and experts to foster collaboration on critical global challenges facing the legal community today, LIDW24 was a brilliant opportunity for P.R.I.M.E. Finance to spotlight topical issues in financial arbitration and to foster dialogue across all aspects of dispute resolution.

Featuring co-panellists P.R.I.M.E. Finance Expert Christopher Vajda KC, Kassie Smith KC, Richard Power and Richard Harry, the first session saw Camilla Macpherson engage in a discussion on International Arbitration and Regulation, including the role played by P.R.I.M.E. Finance in finance disputes.

Together with P.R.I.M.E. Finance Expert Loukas Mistelis, Bruno Campana, Pierre-Yves D., Susana Esteban, Anna Myrvang, Steven Novakovich and Pedram Parhizkari, the second session on Financial Services and Capital Markets Disputes - Trends and Horizon Scanning for Alternative Investment Managers highlighted new classes of digital assets and their respective challenges as well as types of support available to alternative investment managers. Camilla discussed the value of arbitration as an appropriate means of resolving novel disputes arising in this rapidly developing sector. This event was hosted by FTI Consulting.

Camilla Macpherson, Head of Secretariat, said: “P.R.I.M.E. Finance was delighted to feature at two events during the week. We are grateful for this opportunity to profile the many user-friendly features of the P.R.I.M.E. Finance Arbitration Rules, and to exchange perspectives with so many leading experts in the field.”
