Bill Wood is one of the UK’s leading mediators. He mediates roughly eighty cases each year. The disputes range across the whole commercial spectrum and beyond and involve banking, derivatives, financial services, intellectual property, employment and discrimination, competition, shipping and insurance. Since  the credit crunch he has been involved in mediating several billion-dollar disputes. He practices principally in London but also regularlymediates abroad , including Dubai, New York, Johannesburg,Mexico City, Geneva , Paris,  Singapore   and Hong Kong .

He lectures and teaches widely on mediation issues.

He studied at Oxford University and Harvard Law School before being called to the Bar. He became a Queen’s Counsel in 1998.

Bill is the ADR representative on the  English Civil Justice  Council and chairs its ADR working group.
