Former Partner at Allen & Overy with over 20 years of transactions and disputes experience in derivatives and structured finance.  Experienced litigation finance investor in the US, UK and Europe.  

Mr. Jones is a Managing Director at TRGP Investment Partners, LP.  Prior to that he was a Founder and Managing Director at Legis Finance.  He is an experienced litigation finance investor and works with leading law firms and corporations to finance large commercial, financial and collective action litigation and arbitration in the US, UK and Europe.  He is involved in all aspects of litigation finance including the underwriting and structuring deals, insurance applications, risk management and stakeholder priorities.

Mr. Jones spent over 15 years as a partner at Allen & Overy practicing in the UK, Asia and the US. His practice focused on a broad range of international capital markets, derivatives and structured finance matters across a variety of asset classes including equities, credit, commodities and FX.  He acted for the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) on numerous standard documentation matters particularly relating to equity derivatives culminating in the drafting of the 2002 ISDA Equity Derivatives Definitions.

Mr. Jones has advised global investment banks on significant dispute resolution matters relating to mis-selling, breach of contract and valuation disputes.  He represented several banks in mediation relating to the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers.  He has also acted as an expert consultant in litigation relating to derivatives transactions.
