Jane has significant experience in servicing financial institutions across contentious and non-contentious regulatory, derivatives, investigations, restructurings and dispute resolution. She is also a trusted adviser for leading Chinese domestic financial institutions in relation to their international disputes. Her financial institutional clients include banks, trusts, securities, fund and asset management, insurance companies and financial leasing companies.
Jane maintains a strong relationship with the local financial regulators (including advising the central bank in China on Renminbi internationalisation) and has particular insight into the financial regulatory regime in China.
Jane is qualified in the United Kingdom and is a senior member of the UK Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb). She joined Allen & Overy in 2003 and has worked in its Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai offices. She speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.
