Ian Cuillerier is a partner in the New York office of White & Case LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Global Derivatives Group and the firm’s Canada Practice Group. Mr. Cuillerier has more than two decades of experience advising on derivatives and structured finance matters. He also possesses notable regulatory experience.
Mr. Cuillerier has represented clients in a wide variety of derivatives and structured finance transactions across all asset classes, including rates, currencies, credit and fixed income, commodities and equities. He has advised on commodity regulatory and compliance issues, insolvency considerations and securities laws, and has significant experience helping clients understand and assess compliance requirements of the Commodities Exchange Act, the Dodd-Frank Act and CFTC regulations. Mr. Cuillerier has assisted many market participants in the development of new products, including the use of derivatives for the financings of financial assets, and in this connection has addressed regulatory, compliance, risk and documentation matters.

Mr. Cuillerier received his Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) and his Bachelor of Laws (LLB)/Juris Doctorate (JD) degrees from McGill University in 1995. He received his undergraduate degree in Honours Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario in 1991.
