Sandie is the Senior Vice-President and General Counsel for the World Bank Group, Vice President for Compliance at the World Bank, and the Chair of the World Bank Group Task Force on Racism.
Sandie is the former General Counsel of HSBC Global Asset Management and Deputy General Counsel of HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management (UK). Prior to joining HSBC in January 2014, Sandie was Global General Counsel at Barings. Prior to joining Barings in May 2007, Sandie was Head of Legal for Corporate Services at Schroders (a FTSE 100 company), where she also managed the Schroders’ Global Legal Panel. Sandie qualified first as a barrister and then re-qualified and trained as a solicitor. Sandie is named in the Powerlist 2015 as the fourth most influential black person in Britain.
